The billet aluminum

high-compression engine head.

Practicality, performance, and an aesthetic appeal all in one quick, easy and affordable upgrade!

These engine heads are a really great, almost essential option for the heavy duty riders who like to test just how fast they can push thier engines to propel themselves down the street! The main purpose of this upgrade is to improve the ability of your engine to cool itself off, dispersing the abundant heat the engine quickly generates when running at high speeds. It does this via the large cooling fins that spread out away from the combustion chamber in the middle.

Why you should add this to your engine:

When any two-stroke engine's temperature exceeds what you might call regular levels, parts on the inside such as the bearings and piston rings rapidly start to break down and decay. In extreme cases, microscopic stress fractures are created throughout these parts that will quickly grow larger until eventually they shatter apart and cause the engine to come to a grinding, dangerous and abrupt halt. This wreaks havoc all throughout the engine and nearly always destroys most of the top end (the piston, rings and cylinder) due to the metal chunks digging into the cylinder walls.

This phenomenon can be effectively avoided by adding one of these fancy engine heads to the top of your motor to help it stay within an acceptable range of temperature while you are running at higher RPMs.

The second advantage this part offers your engine is found in the shape of the combustion chamber itself. If you look at the picture of the underside of the head you will notice that the chamber is sort of half-dome shaped and appears to have a smaller diameter than that of a stock engine head. This shape focuses the gasoline/oxygen fuel charge closer to the ignition spark in the center of the chamber, resulting in a greater amount of fuel being compressed and burned faster, the subsequent explosion applies pressure equally over the surface area of the top of the piston as it is forced downward through the combustion cycle. This in turn also burns fuel more efficiently, ultimately giving you more horsepower!

The third positive aspect of this type of engine head is simple: it looks cool! Just take a look at the pictures below and find out for yourself!

Not all upgrade heads are the same, there are several varieties. Most of them accomplish the same things, though. This one here is the one I use on my personal bike. It is known as a "Fred head" because of its designer.

If you are interested in adding this excellent addition to your engine or if you want to purchase one of our new bikes with this part already installed, contact us so we can make that happen. The price range for the part and the installation is approximately $60 to $85 depending on the actual head you choose and the method of assembly your bike may require.

We'll even sell you the part by itself for less if you want to make this a DIY project!
